Title/Reporting: Rare Disease Business Manager - HAE (Las Vegas). Reports to the Regional Business Lead, HAE.
How you will contribute:
- Drive franchise sales growth through execution of sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the Regional Business Lead and customer-facing teams to support patients through their HAE journey.
- Lead demand generation focused on healthcare professionals; educate HCPs on Takeda brands for the HAE portfolio.
- Manage daytime and evening/weekend activities; navigate complexity of the HAE marketplace (distribution, site of care).
- Work with third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patient access to therapy.
- Comply with policies/guidelines; ensure high customer satisfaction and embody company culture/values.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Clinical sales background; Bachelor of Science degree (minimum) required.
- 5+ years of successful relevant healthcare sales experience managing and being accountable for own business.
- Complex selling model knowledge/experience (highly desirable).
- Biotech experience (desirable).
- Results-driven with track record of results and compliance.
- Business acumen; knowledge of sales processes.
- Organizational and territory planning skills.
- Ability to acquire/analyze/interpret customer data to create sales strategies.
- Change agility experience.
- Experience influencing HCPs to prescribe; launch experience (plus).
- Travel ~50%; including overnight and occasional weekends; support immunology conventions/meetings.
- Authorization and ability to drive a company-leased vehicle or rental.
Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written and oral exams).
- During training (external Takeda hires only): non-exempt; eligible for overtime only during training (not eligible for sales incentives/production bonuses). Training includes live instruction, independent study, role play; up to 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week.
- After passing exams: transitioned to exempt status; no overtime; paid bi-weekly; eligible for sales incentives/contests.
