Rare Disease Business Manager (Gastroenterology Rare Disease Sales Team) β Seattle territory; Washington (Virtual).
Objectives
- Implement the marketing plan and communicate approved brand value to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales and patient objectives.
- Provide truthful, non-misleading disease/product/formulary information in compliance with laws and policies.
- Execute brand strategy within the territory to maximize sales with physicians, staff, specialists, and other appropriate HCPs.
- Analyze local/regional business and managed-market trends to build short- and long-term goals.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment, including handling confidential patient information.
- Build compliant internal partnerships and seek clarification from management/Compliance & Legal when uncertain.
Accountabilities
- Meet targeted HCPs and staff to understand needs and discuss Takeda product fit.
- Use consultative, highly technical solution-oriented selling for Short Bowel and/or Ulcerative Colitis.
- Focus on greatest positive patient impact.
- Manage territory marketing/speaker program budget per compliance policies.
- Share best practices; participate in regional/national meetings.
- Use CRM to document account profiles and pre/post call activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Ability to discuss therapeutic strategies; develop clinical/business expertise; strong written/verbal/presentation skills.
- Reside within/near assigned geography; adapt to changing needs; commitment to learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Local marketing strategy execution; managed care knowledge; collaboration; specialty injectable/infusion pharmacy/coordination with patient services; Gastroenterology/orphan/highly specialized sales; analyze technical data for actionable plans.
Training/License/Travel
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid Driverβs License; clean driving record.
