POSITION: Account Specialist (field-based, hybrid) reporting to the Region Director. Build and manage long-term relationships with physicians and other customers in an assigned territory; provide access support/education and deliver promotional messages for Hereditary Angioedema (HAE). Educate external HAE community customers (physicians, nurses, billing managers, office staff) on approved indication and clinical information and appropriate use of Donidalorsen once FDA approved. Support healthcare provider offices with access support in a compliant manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Educate HCPs/office staff on Donidalorsen (brand messages, efficacy, safety) and the Donidalorsen access process (payer coverage policies, challenges, etc.)
- Use tokenized patient hub data via CRM to provide patient access status updates
- Raise HAE disease-state awareness and encourage urgent, appropriate treatment
- Provide prescribing and access support experience; educate on Ionis patient services offerings
- Participate in conferences/scientific meetings
- Gather account/market insights; identify and document potential HCPs treating HAE
- Develop and execute customer-focused territory strategic account plans; adjust tactics to meet territory goals
- Participate in field training; strengthen payer landscape knowledge; certify on label/compliance/customer engagement policies; adhere to Ionis Code of Ethics/Business Conduct
- Collaborate with field teams; share learnings; leverage platforms/technology; partner across specialties/geographies

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; compliant driving record
- Bachelor’s degree + 12 years related experience (Master’s/advanced degree preferred with 8+ years)
- 4+ years Pharma sales and/or Field Reimbursement/access roles (rare diseases/product launches; HCP/IDN engagement; cross-functional field coordination; launch experience; reimbursement/access education; payer reimbursement knowledge for rare disease)
- Analytical skills; self-driven, compliant problem-solving; excellent communication/presentation
- Track record meeting/exceeding targets; knowledge of laws/codes/company policies for healthcare interactions
