About The Role
Expert on practices, delivery networks, and patient populations within their territory. Responsible for positioning the company as a leader in the Endocrine space and maximizing sales in their territory; provides education and approved support from diagnosis through rare disease management. Develops and executes marketing and sales strategies, mastering brand messaging, clinical information, targeting, and digital technology to deliver high-impact customer experiences while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Lead implementation of a patient-centric model including physicians, their staff, clinics, and applicable hospitals
- Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with COEs, academic teaching institutions, key health systems, and relevant IDNs
- Serve as authority on Neurocrine tools/resources that support HCPs and other providers advocating for rare disease patients
- Create, maintain, and execute strategic business and account plans based on brand plan and local market conditions
- Master targeted disease states, including patient journeys, standards of care, and treatment drivers
- Execute local disease education and promotional programs using in-depth clinical/scientific knowledge
- Provide high-level product expertise and customer service to targeted accounts and stakeholders
- Expand expertise across the care continuum (physicians, payers, hospital systems, pharmacies, labs) and stay aware of stakeholder dynamics
- Navigate complex hospital settings (academic and community) to access targeted HCPs and stakeholders
- Maintain payer landscape relationships to support coverage/reimbursement; collaborate with payer access team
- Foster relationships with patient advocacy groups; support community education and awareness activities
- Engage with providers managing rare CAH and deliver high-level clinical education
- Compliantly assist with patient therapy access (testing procedures, site of care, reimbursement education)
- Provide educational support to underserved patient communities and collaborate with advocacy to support patients
- Keep abreast of industry/market trends and best practices; provide feedback loop during launch
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS/BA AND 8+ years biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience; 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized, high-value products; proven launch experience in complex/competitive environments; experience with business systems, salesforce automation, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, Veeva). Proven sales performance (% to quota, ranking reports, recognition awards)
- OR Masterโs preferred AND 6+ years relevant experience
- OR PhD AND 4+ years relevant experience
- Consistent track record of sales success with quantifiable/documented accomplishments and awards

- Frequent driving: valid driverโs license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a motor vehicle
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in rare diseases; calling on key accounts, COEs, and academic institutions
- Endocrine experience strongly preferred
- Previous start-up/market development desirable
- Experience with specialty pharmacy distribution/Hub Model
- Ability to plan, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify/address opportunities
- Proficiency with sales force automation and basic business software
- Strong organization; multitasking and prioritization in dynamic, cross-functional environments
- Excellent collaboration, communication (verbal/written), and attention to detail
- Passion for patient and caregiver programs
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory/enforcement environments, market access fundamentals, and specialty product distribution
- Demonstrated cross-functional ability; ability to identify and hire an exceptional sales team
