Key Responsibilities:
- Drive demand generation within the Growth & Genetics product portfolio; build expert product and disease-state knowledge for appropriate face-to-face clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals.
- Promote approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve or exceed sales goals.
- Establish strategic relationships with key stakeholders in centers of excellence and academic institutions (physicians, administrative staff, nurses, care coordinators, pharmacists) to drive product adoption.
- Lead cross-functional planning to optimize access/adoption of rare disease therapies and identify referral networks within assigned customer segments.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Patient Services, Marketing, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access) to align goals and execution.
- Provide field insights on emerging treatment trends, patient needs, and competitor activity.
- Stay current on rare disease market trends, policy developments (e.g., orphan drug policy), patient advocacy, and competitive activity.
- Experience launching or supporting ultra-rare disease products.
- Travel 70% and cover a large geographic area.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, market access, or health system-based sales in rare disease/biotech/specialty pharma.
- Proven ability to engage and influence high-level stakeholders in centers of excellence and academic institutions to measurably improve product access and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated use of product knowledge for customized, compliant, ethical in-person interactions.
- Documented track record of consistent top performance.
- Strong knowledge of rare disease market dynamics (distribution, patient support, high-touch care coordination, innovative reimbursement models).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong clinical and business acumen to craft compelling, patient-focused clinical solutions.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and strategic account planning frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with integrated delivery networks (IDNs), PBMs, and specialty pharmacy operations.
- Proven success balancing a product portfolio.

Compensation:
- Annual base salary range: $195,000–$215,000 (actual varies by qualifications, skills, competencies, and role proficiency).
