QC Lab Support

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Scope of the Role:
- Run laboratory dishwashers; visually inspect laboratory glassware for cleanliness.
- Remove laboratory waste (solvent/glassware/vials) from satellite containers to the hazardous waste room as necessary.
- Remove 55 gal drums from the waste room to the loading area for waste pick-up.
- Maintain inventory of all lab supplies (solvents/consumables/glassware) in 5S locations in all lab rooms.
- Dust/wash lab surfaces and equipment; clean lab hoods.
- Replace water in laboratory equipment as needed.
- Carry samples and documentation between buildings.
- Move lab supplies/solvents between buildings/rooms.
- Label solvent bottles per SOP requirements.
- Perform daily verification of laboratory balances.
- Order supplies using ARIBA, SAP, etc.
- Prepare and perform Cleaning Validation Swabs when required.

Experience Required:
- Ability to work as a team to achieve desired results; may need to work OT as required.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to read/write and follow written procedures.
- Prior lab experience is preferred.
- Ability to interact with lab chemists to provide necessary supplies and respond in a timely manner.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and attention to detail; able to work independently and with others.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibility for results.
