Role: The PSL&D Instructional Designer develops innovative, technology-enhanced learning solutions to enhance colleague capabilities within biopharma R&D. Primary objectives include designing engaging, learner-centric experiences across multiple formats that leverage emerging digital tools and AI to promote behavior change and business impact. Responsibilities encompass end-to-end instructional design, translating complex scientific content into accessible learning assets, integrating immersive technologies such as virtual/augmented reality, gamification, and simulations, and utilizing analytics for continuous improvement. The role involves close partnership with subject matter experts to align learning with organizational goals, creation of digital assets using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Vyond), and measuring learning effectiveness through assessments and data analysis. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field, 3-5+ yearsβ experience in corporate or regulated environments, proficiency with multimedia and eLearning tools, and strong project management skills. Preferred qualifications are experience with AI-enabled design, UX, gamification, and immersive content, especially in scientific or compliance-related training. The position is hybrid with less than 10% travel, supporting continuous innovation in learning modalities for biopharma R&D teams.
