Key Responsibilities:
- Drive demand and influence decision-making among Medical Experts (MEs) and other key HCPs within Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and assigned accounts through PROS education, compliant product value communication, and appropriate positioning within the therapeutic/disease landscape.
- Develop, coordinate, and execute account-focused strategic commercial business plans aligned to account objectives and Novartis commercial strategy; use an enterprise perspective to tailor strategies to customer needs and patient care.
- Support design and implementation of educational programs for multidisciplinary teams to promote awareness, identification, and care of patients with PROS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver a cohesive “One Novartis” experience; maintain knowledge of relevant personnel/resources.
- Map customer needs, build relationships, and deliver solutions for complex customer groups; understand payer mix and address product-access opportunities/policy updates.
- Use digital tools and virtual engagement to meet customer needs; maintain working knowledge of digital marketing/sales capabilities and use reporting/insights for growth opportunities.
- Identify potential patients via lead generation/prospecting; evaluate opportunities and determine needed resources for follow-through.
- Gather and communicate actionable customer insights from the geography and conferences to field and HQ teams.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar) with large dispersed teams; 3+ years in Key Account/Sales, Management, Marketing, Reimbursement Management, or Institutional sales (preferred).
- 3+ years managing complex accounts (academic centers/hospitals) with strategic account management success.
- Healthcare ecosystem thinking; technology/digital engagement proficiency; strong therapeutic area/product knowledge.
- Strong business acumen; ability to collaborate in matrixed environments.
- Reside in/adjacent to assigned territory near a major commercial airport; travel 60–80%; drive/fly throughout territory; valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
