Responsibilities:
- End-to-end lifecycle delivery of capital and engineering projects across assigned sites (initiation through handover), including reporting, managing approvals, schedule/performance, financial/operational recovery planning, risk assessment/mitigation, and transition to operations.
- Ensure projects deliver agreed business benefits by tracking performance vs. defined KPIs and aligning outcomes to site, regional, and corporate objectives; oversee service partner performance vs. contractual KPIs and address gaps.
- Conduct assurance reviews and stage-gate assessments to meet quality, safety, compliance, and governance standards; ensure alignment with country regulations, GSK policies/standards/SOPs, and site-specific requirements.
- Lead safety and compliance culture across WREF Americas; define/implement project risk management strategies; support/deliver risk assessments; ensure timely completion of risk mitigation actions, EHS CAPAs, and responses to Global Alerts.
- Investigate adverse events related to project delivery; implement corrective/preventive actions; stop work/escalate issues as needed; drive root cause analysis when deliverables/standards/legal requirements are not met.
- Plan and develop projects with sponsors and cross-functional teams: define user requirements, scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines; develop options and preferred schemes with stakeholders.
- Determine delivery and procurement strategies, including value engineering aligned with risk and compliance.
- Oversee service partner safety/compliance/risk performance regionally; enhance performance, address capability gaps, and ensure consistent delivery.
- Engage stakeholders and participate in governance/operational forums and weekly tiered meetings.
- Support audit readiness and compliance reviews; drive continuous improvement and share best practices via Communities of Practice.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, construction management, or related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 5 years of project management/technical project delivery experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience managing projects from design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and qualification.
- Demonstrable experience building/maintaining project plans, budgets, and risk registers.
- Stakeholder management with clear written and verbal communication.
- Practical understanding of quality and safety requirements in a facility environment.
- Knowledge in EHS and Facilities Safety.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in engineering, project management, or related field.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or formal PM training.
- Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera.
- Experience leading multi-discipline teams in pharmaceutical/biotech/laboratory environments.
- Track record applying continuous improvement/lean methods.

Work arrangement:
- Hybrid: on-site 2–3 days/week; remote remaining days.
