Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute global public affairs plans to deliver Immunology Franchise strategic objectives (focus on pipeline assets for dermatology, respiratory, and GI conditions).
- Drive implementation of a robust Global PA strategy to support high-priority business objectives and prepare for significant launches and/or uptake of new therapies.
- Reinforce Sanofi’s leadership in innovation and patient commitment in immunology.
- Drive “Where to Play” strategy for priority markets.
- Strengthen relationships with patient groups and key stakeholders to keep the “voice of the patient” central in shaping strategy and development opportunities.
- Develop external policy/market-shaping strategies for key disease states in priority countries in partnership with local PA teams (identify patients, build advocacy, shape policy to accelerate/sustain access).
- Build immunology expertise within the PA community.
- Align global strategies with local realities and ensure effective use of global tools.
- Leverage US and Corporate Affairs resources to secure alignment and champion “one voice.”
- Pull through global strategic initiatives to support immunology leadership and reputation building.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (clinical development, new product planning, market access, medical, regulatory, commercial) to incorporate external community input, address early market-shaping needs (e.g., screening/diagnostics, payment reform, care delivery barriers), and educate external partners on the pipeline.
- Monitor external trends (threats/opportunities) and communicate impacts to TA leadership.
- Develop and execute external engagement strategy for senior TA leadership.
Qualifications / Minimum Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years combined experience across Public Affairs, Market Access, Policy, or Government Affairs with policy-shaping responsibilities.
- Experience developing policy and advocacy strategies in an industry or advocacy public affairs role.
- Experience working on early-stage assets; cross-functional engagement with R&D and new product planning/BD.
- Ability to collaborate across Local, Regional, and Global teams; proven leadership in a highly matrixed environment.
- Up to 30% overall travel.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Post-graduate degree or doctorate in public health/healthcare or business (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD, MBA or equivalent).
- Prior experience in immunology.

- Reports to the Head, Global Public Affairs, Immunology.
