Key responsibilities:
- Develop business plan for assigned territory consistent with company sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to all targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
- Develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and use information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop and implement territory prescriber strategies.
- Use sample program, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness of company products.
- Respond appropriately to customer requests in a timely, reliable manner with consistent information.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development in efficient sales, communication, and product knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree and 1+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Demonstrated self-starter; highly motivated.
- Ability to travel throughout territory (may include overnight travel).
- Must reside in territory geography.
- Valid Driverโs License with acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- English proficiency required (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).
Compensation (range): $100,000โ$150,000 (Professional) or $108,000โ$162,000 (Senior)
