Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Respiratory – Spokane, WA
Responsibilities:
- Develop business plans for assigned territory consistent with sales strategies and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles; develop pre-call planning strategies for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and utilize information from offices, pharmacists, and others to implement strategies for territory prescribers.
- Leverage sample programs, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Differentiate products from competitors; respond confidentially and appropriately to customer issues.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.
- Territory includes Spokane, WA and Missoula, Helena, Bozeman, and Billings, MT.
Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree required.
- Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical sales experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).
- Documented history of successful performance; demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Demonstrated leadership; meet key competency expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member; self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to learn, apply, and communicate products and disease states.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel.
- Must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing) required.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $100,000–$150,000 (Professional) and $108,000–$162,000 (Senior).
