Key Responsibilities:
- Northeast Texas territory includes Texarkana, Tyler, Paris, and Mt Pleasant, TX.
- Develop business plan for assigned territory aligned with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
- Develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and use information to develop and implement strategies for territory prescribers.
- Leverage sample programs, literature, and other materials to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Differentiate products from competitors and respond to customer issues confidentially and appropriately.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development (sales, communication, and product knowledge training).
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree required.
- Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical sales experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).
- Documented history of successful performance.
- Demonstrated business acumen; influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Demonstrated leadership; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to learn, apply, and communicate products and disease states over time.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel.
- Must live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English required.
- Professional vs. Senior level based on years of related professional experience.
Compensation (salary range):
- Professional level: $100,000–$150,000 USD.
- Senior level: $108,000–$162,000 USD.
