Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Respiratory – Jackson, MS

Key Responsibilities:
- Jackson, MS territory includes Jackson, Hattiesburg, and Starkville, MS.
- Develops business plan for assigned territory consistent with company sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conducts quality sales presentations to all targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understands and demonstrates targeting principles.
- Develops pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Develops positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensures high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gathers and utilizes information to develop and implement specific strategies for territory prescribers.
- Leverages sample programs, literature, and other items to ensure physician awareness of products.
- Differentiates products from competitors and responds to customer issues confidentially and appropriately.
- Pursues continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, and product knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree required.
- 1+ years’ pharmaceutical sales experience (combination of experience and education considered).
- Documented history of successful performance; demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Demonstrated leadership.
- Meets key competency expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member; self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to learn, apply, and communicate products and disease states.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel; must live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- English speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing required.
