Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business plan for assigned territory aligned with Viatris sales plans, strategies, and objectives.
- Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
- Achieve quarterly sales goals in territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
- Develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
- Build positive, interactive relationships with peers, customers, and company managers.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Gather and use information from offices, pharmacists, and others to implement territory prescriber strategies.
- Use sample program, literature, and other materials to ensure physician awareness of Viatris products.
- Respond to customer requests in a timely, reliable manner with consistent information.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional development (sales, communication, product knowledge).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 1+ year pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated business acumen; influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong verbal/interpersonal/listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member; self-starter.
- Travel throughout territory (may include overnight travel); must reside in territory geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $100,000β$150,000 (Professional) or $108,000β$162,000 (Senior).
