Key responsibilities for this role include:
- The Shreveport, LA territory includes Shreveport, LA; Alexandria, LA; Lafayette, LA; Lake Charles, LA; and Jackson, MS.
- Drive sales through promotion of Viatris products to OBGYNs, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Pharmacists; execute and continuously improve a territory management plan; develop pre- and post-call planning strategies for key targets/accounts.
- Leverage available assets (e.g., Lunch and Learns, Displays and Resources) to ensure HCP awareness of Viatris products.
- Achieve sales goals within territory while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Gather and utilize information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop and implement strategies for territory prescribers on an ongoing basis.
- Develop clear call objectives based on customer profile.
- Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
- Actively listen, observe, and solicit feedback to engage in meaningful dialogue and identify useful information to improve patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate persuasive, balanced dialogue that gains agreement and changes customersโ€™ beliefs/behaviors to support appropriate utilization of products and improve outcomes.
- Respond appropriately to customer requests in a timely, reliable manner with consistent information.

Minimum qualifications:
- BS or BA degree required.
- 6 months to 2 years outside B2B sales experience, or 2 years sales experience (preferably pharmaceutical sales); relevant sales experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated business acumen; account management; 1:1 interactions as meaningful, relevant, persuasive two-way dialogues; ability to work independently and as a team member; self-starter with strong leadership.
- Documented history of successful performance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Meets expectations for key competencies for this role.
- Ability to learn, apply, and communicate products and disease states over time.
- Ability to travel.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance (no relocation offered).
- Valid Driverโ€™s License and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English required.

Compensation:
- Salary range: Professional: $100,000 - $150,000; Senior: $108,000 - $162,000.
