Responsibilities:
- Serve the Austin, TX territory (Austin, Round Rock, Temple, Killen, Bryan, College Station, TX).
- Drive sales by promoting Viatris products to OBGYNs, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Pharmacists.
- Execute and continuously improve a territory management plan; perform pre- and post-call planning for key targets/accounts.
- Use available resources (e.g., Lunch and Learns, Displays and Resources) to ensure HCP awareness.
- Achieve territory sales goals while adhering to ethical sales practices and required regulations.
- Gather and apply information from offices, pharmacists, and others to develop and implement strategies for territory prescribers.
- Develop clear call objectives based on customer profile.
- Maintain high levels of call and field productivity.
- Listen, observe, and solicit feedback to engage in meaningful dialogue and support patient outcome improvements.
- Use persuasive, balanced dialogue to gain agreement and influence customer beliefs/behaviors to drive appropriate product utilization.
- Respond to customer requests in a timely, reliable manner with consistent information.
Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree required.
- 0+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience; 0–3 years of B2B sales experience.
- Documented history of successful performance.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Demonstrated leadership; meets expectations for key competencies.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to learn, apply, and communicate products and disease states over time.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel.
- Must live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is preferred.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $100,000–$150,000 (Professional); $108,000–$162,000 (Senior).
