What You Will Achieve
- Produce high-quality, purified, sterile collagen using protein extraction and purification, filtrations, dilutions, and chemical sterilizations following cGMPs.
- Perform in-process testing (assays, titrations, and color indicator testing).
- Operate specialized equipment including a continuous flow centrifuge.
- Clean and assemble glassware/equipment for sterilization.
- Complete production documentation in a timely manner.
- Follow company safety policies, including chemical safety and proper lifting techniques.
- Assist with process optimization and scale-up activities (if necessary).
- May assist Engineering and Facilities during equipment calibration/validation/repair.
- Maintain laboratory inventory supply.
- Write deviation reports (as necessary).
What You Need to Achieve It
- B.S. or A.S. in a biological science (or equivalent) and 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- cGMP/Quality Systems knowledge and cleanroom experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques/equipment (e.g., pipets, balances).
- Ability to lift/push/pull as required and demonstrate good dexterity.
- Ability to work in cold room conditions (2–8°C).
- Ability to closely follow procedures and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
- Pre-employment physical and lift test required.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
