Position Summary
The Product Training Manager β Oncology Portfolio develops, implements, and maintains product education programs enabling the Commercial organization to represent the Oncology portfolio (MI Cancer Seek, Caris Assure, ChromoSeq). Partners cross-functionally to translate scientific evidence, clinical data, competitive intelligence, and commercial messaging into learning experiences for new hire onboarding, product launches, and continuous education. Serves as Commercial Education lead for assigned Oncology products.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Oncology product training curriculum for onboarding, launches, and ongoing education.
- Translate complex scientific/clinical/technical/commercial information into learner-centered materials (instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, video, self-directed).
- Design learning pathways, certifications, assessments, job aids, playbooks, competitive intelligence resources, field communications, and reinforcement activities.
- Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Product Management, Sales Leadership, Commercial Operations, and SMEs to keep content aligned with product strategy, evidence, messaging, and enhancements.
- Monitor product updates, labeling changes, new clinical data, competitive landscape, and messaging to keep training current.
- Facilitate training for onboarding, launches, National Sales Meetings, regional meetings, and other events.
- Evaluate effectiveness (assessments, feedback, observations, performance metrics) and continuously improve using adult learning/instructional design best practices.
- Maintain governance, version control, and quality of training materials.
- Maintain working knowledge of Caris products, commercial processes, and customer workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 5+ years in commercial training/product education/L&D/marketing or related roles in life sciences, diagnostics, biotechnology, or healthcare.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific/clinical information into practical learning solutions.
- Strong project management, collaboration, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine.
- Experience in healthcare sales, product marketing, medical education, or customer-facing commercial roles.
Travel/Training/Other
- Periodic travel, including National Sales Meetings, regional meetings, and product launch events; occasional evening/weekend/holiday work.
- Complete required job-specific, safety, compliance, and quality training.
- Perform responsibilities per applicable policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements; other duties as assigned.
