Position Summary
Product Training Manager β Oncology Portfolio develops, implements, and maintains product education programs to enable the Commercial organization to represent the Oncology portfolio (MI Cancer Seek, Caris Assure, ChromoSeq), partnering cross-functionally to deliver education across the commercial employee lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve product training curriculum for onboarding, product launches, and ongoing education.
- Translate complex scientific/clinical/technical/commercial information into learner-centered training (instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, video, self-directed).
- Create learning pathways, certifications, assessments, job aids, playbooks, competitive intelligence resources, field communications, and reinforcement activities.
- Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Product Management, Sales Leadership, Commercial Operations, and SMEs to keep training aligned with strategy, evidence, messaging, and product enhancements.
- Monitor product updates, labeling changes, new clinical data, and competitive landscape to maintain accuracy.
- Serve as Commercial Education lead for assigned Oncology products; prioritize initiatives with Director, Product Launch & Continuous Education, and Director, New Hire Training.
- Facilitate training for new hires, launches, National Sales Meetings, and regional meetings.
- Evaluate effectiveness (assessments, feedback, observations, performance metrics) and improve using adult learning/instructional design best practices.
- Maintain governance, version control, and quality.
- Maintain working knowledge of products, commercial processes, and customer workflows; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 5+ years in commercial training/product education/L&D/marketing or related life sciences/diagnostics/biotech/healthcare roles.
- Strong ability to translate complex scientific/clinical information into practical learning.
- Strong project management, collaboration, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and LMS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine experience.
- Healthcare sales, product marketing, medical education, or customer-facing commercial roles.
Other
- Periodic travel for National/Regional meetings and product launches; occasional evening/weekend/holiday work.
- Complete required job-specific, safety, compliance, and quality training.
