Responsibilities:
- Propose, initiate, and lead programs that continuously improve technical solutions across the content life cycle (Planning, Review/Approval, Production, Delivery, Operations)
- Partner with Customer Excellence and BTS affiliate-focused (Geo) teams to define the Content Solutions roadmap based on business strategies and technology needs
- Own initiatives including Content Review Assistant (AI), content deployment improvements, data taxonomy refinement, Vault enhancements, and expanding AI use across the content life cycle
- Engage international affiliates to understand local needs and drive activation of existing capabilities
- Coordinate with the content operations team to drive content operations improvements and partner with digital channels, data/analytics, and data integration teams
- Identify current/emerging business needs and evaluate technology solutions and trends to balance short- and long-term objectives
- Leverage existing data and technology capabilities across AbbVie and recommend applications within the content product portfolio
- Manage a product portfolio, securing cross-functional alignment on scope, benefits, cost, and timeline; provide status visibility to leadership
- Develop estimates and timelines by collecting input/feedback from impacted stakeholders
- Coordinate across BTS and business functions to secure resources in a matrixed team
- Ensure systems are architected for technology synergies and simplified integration for multi-vendor relationships
- Adhere to applicable AbbVie compliance expectations
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelorβs (7 years) OR Masterβs (6 years) OR PhD (2 years)
- Experience managing/coaching vendor resources
- Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and ask effective questions
- Innovative thinking; ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
- Interest in technology trends and improving end-user experience
- Proven project leadership with positive results
- Ability to manage time/priorities independently
- Negotiation experience with IT suppliers/vendors
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to interact with business leaders in non-IT conversations
- Ability to work across global time zones
- Preferred: Experience with Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, or other content management solutions
- Preferred: Experience defining/implementing digital strategies for pharmaceutical/healthcare
