Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D to establish unmet needs, translate to customer requirements/specifications, and assist in validation activities.
- Use customer insights to identify unmet needs, create business cases, and drive product development/execution through internal/external innovation.
- Conduct market research to size the addressable market, build market models, and assess financial implications of new launches.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet milestones and ensure timely, high-quality product launches.
- Analyze the competitive landscape; integrate business needs into products and ensure desired claims are in the marketing plan.
- Develop marketing and launch plans: value proposition, messaging, key claims, segmentation/targeting, pricing strategy, and evidence-based strategy.
- Coordinate with regional partners to capture primary market needs and transition products to downstream for launch.
- Build and implement lifecycle management plans with countries/regulatory/R&D/manufacturing to drive execution.
- Build relationships with downstream product marketing, KOLs, medical advisory board members, and relevant societies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business/Marketing or related; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- Strong leadership; define objectives/strategies and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Strategic development and analytical skills; create complex market/financial models; financial acumen.
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Self-starter; independent and collaborative.
- Familiar with global medical devices and FDA/CE regulatory submission requirements.
- Strong communication/presentation; influence without authority; interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, innovative, results-driven; customer/patient focus.
- Computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
Experience:
- 5+ years in medical device and pharmaceutical roles; experience in medical aesthetics/energy-based devices/plastic surgery preferred.
- 3+ years in product management/upstream or downstream marketing in medical devices preferred.
Plus (if can speak): Mandarin; Korean.
