Key Responsibilities
- Act as a superuser and subject-matter expert for LabWare and Benchling LIMS, supporting day-to-day PAPD laboratory operations.
- Work with IT and LIMS vendors to support onboarding, training, and adoption of new LIMS capabilities across PAPD.
- Partner with laboratory scientists, process engineers, and data teams to optimize LIMS configurations, workflows, templates, and metadata standards.
- Troubleshoot LIMS issues, coordinate with vendors/IT, and drive continuous improvement.
- Enable and support reporting and visualization using Spotfire, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Work with stakeholders to define key metrics, dashboards, and reporting requirements tied to PAPD processes.
- Ensure LIMS data is complete, consistent, and analysis-ready for downstream data lakes, data stores, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with DEA data engineering and OT/IT partners to enable reliable data pipelines from LIMS into enterprise data platforms.
- Contribute to data standards, data quality checks, and documentation supporting scalable digital solutions.
- Apply PAPD process/workflow/documentation knowledge to align digital solutions with lab practices.
- Support documentation, data traceability, and audit readiness as required.
- Execute using SAFe (Scaled Agile Frameworks); translate between scientific, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Serve as overall product owner/product manager for multiple agile teams; drive the PAPD roadmap using Agile methodology.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives supporting PAPDโs digital/data strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent) with 8+ years total experience.
- Hands-on experience with LabWare or Benchling LIMS; strong understanding of LIMS solutions.
- Strong understanding of laboratory data flows, sample management, and experimental workflows.
- Working knowledge of data lakes, data stores, and data integration concepts.
- Experience enabling reporting/analytics using Spotfire, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
- Solid understanding of PAPD process development environments and documentation.
- Strong communication skills; effective in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in biopharma/biotech process development organizations.
- Familiarity with upstream/downstream processing and analytics needs.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata standards, and data quality practices.
- Experience partnering with IT, data engineering, or digital transformation teams.
- Familiarity with AI capabilities of Tableau Cloud, Power BI tools, or similar.
