Principal Scientist, Data Science (primary location flexible: Titusville, NJ; Raritan, NJ; Spring House, PA; Cambridge, MA; or San Diego, CA)
Responsibilities:
- Define an end-to-end vision for medical imaging data products (ingestion, curation, integration, consumption).
- Lead development and scaling of imaging data products aligned to clinical trial and therapeutic needs.
- Promote FAIR data principles and ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and ethical standards.
- Partner with therapeutic/disease teams to translate business needs into scalable data product solutions.
- Lead cross-functional execution across data science, engineering, clinical, and CROs/vendors.
- Modernize imaging pipelines, platforms, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Expand the imaging-focused data product portfolio aligned to clinical development priorities.
Education:
- Master’s degree required; PhD or equivalent preferred.
- Advanced degree in Imaging Health Sciences or related field.
Experience & Skills:
- 10+ years in medical imaging and multi-modal data environments.
- Experience building/scaling data products or data platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with imaging data standards (e.g., DICOM), PACS, and multi-modal pipelines.
- Familiarity with analytics/AI-ML (e.g., computer vision) in imaging.
- Ability to translate complex imaging data into business and clinical value.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced analytics, data analysis/visualization, data privacy standards & data quality, critical thinking, strategic thinking, process improvements, technical credibility, workflow analysis.
