Job Title: Principal Medical Science Liaison (PMSL) β€” Texas/New Mexico territory

Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Lead strategic, comprehensive territory planning; execute high-quality two-way scientific exchange; mentor peers; consolidate/translate/cross-functionally share insights.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a field strategic plan; identify resource gaps; introduce innovative ideas/programs to enhance field impact.
- Serve as field lead for pre- and post-launch activities; analyze competitor data, clinical evidence, and scientific positioning to differentiate profile and influence TA strategy.
- Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators, healthcare systems, and academic centers using clinical data, real-world evidence, and audience-appropriate non-promotional communication.
- Identify, develop, and execute high-level research support for company- and investigator-initiated initiatives; facilitate scientific exchange; connect investigators to internal research/grant processes (without assuming sponsor responsibilities).
- Lead scientific thought exchange (e.g., journal clubs, conferences, advisory boards, investigator meetings, approved speaking).
- Drive cross-functional collaboration (medical, commercial, RWV&E, and TA MSL partners) and perform compliant administrative/operational responsibilities.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance decision-making and streamline processes.

Qualifications
- Doctorate degree or equivalent experience required (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.); post-graduate experience required; preference for therapeutic clinical experience; residency/fellowship preferred.
- Minimum 6+ years relevant MSL experience.
- Travel up to 70% (overnights and some weekend commitments).
- Proficiency in data gathering/analysis, clinical expertise, problem solving, interpersonal influence, strategic thinking, and competitive landscape analysis.
- Must reside in defined territory; valid U.S. driver’s license.

Preferred
- Knowledge/experience in therapeutic area.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot; utilization of computers and remote technologies.
- Related clinical/research/pharma experience.
