Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted partner of Corporate Tax business leaders.
- Understand business needs and vision; deliver technology solutions to enable goals and objectives.
- Provide insights on how technology can improve business processes and operating efficiencies.
- Refine and execute technology strategy by leading evaluation, selection, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of technology solutions.
- Translate accounting requirements into functional specifications for system enhancements or new implementations.
- Support testing, validation, and deployment of system changes related to revenue processing.
- Partner with DTE teams to ensure integration of data flows between upstream and downstream accounting systems.
- Stay current on system capabilities for on-prem/Oracle and cloud features (including AI).
- Develop and maintain a long-term lifecycle plan for systems maintenance and management.
- Work with DTE Compliance, Internal Audit, and Quality Assurance to ensure regulatory compliance and DTE lifecycle/change management requirements.
Knowledge And Skills:
- Required: Configure ERP solutions (Oracle E-Business Suite and/or SAP) to achieve indirect tax compliance.
- Highly desirable: Support Indirect and Direct Tax using Coupa Business Spend Management, Oracle E-Business Suite, Workiva, OneSource Tax Provision.
- Desirable: Support Direct and Indirect Tax using Alteryx Analytics and Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Desirable: Implement Notice-Ninja (or equivalent) for Tax Notices (Federal/State/Direct/Indirect) and audits.
- In-depth knowledge of project management, business analysis, solution design, delivery, testing, and training.
- Build partnerships with stakeholders and align around recommendations/solutions.
- Strong understanding of business processes and regulatory environments.
- Results-oriented with on-time delivery experience for large, complex, global projects.
- Manage own workload with minimal direction.
- Strong written/verbal communication; present complex/sensitive information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Strong system lifecycle expertise.
- Knowledge of IT managed services or outsourced/offshore teams.
- Strong MS Office skills (MS Project & Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in Agile methodology.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in a technology discipline (or equivalent).
- 6 years relevant business systems experience in the Life Sciences industry (or equivalent education and experience).
Pay Range:
- $142,800 - $214,200
