Position Description
- Drive complex brand strategies across the Alzheimer’s disease (AD) portfolio, creating urgency for patient care across multiple healthcare settings and specialties (neurologist, primary care, and healthcare systems).
- Work compliantly across internal functions, including Medical, Payer, and Field Reimbursement teams.
- Influence systems of care and identify referral networks to support smooth detection, diagnosis, and treatment.
Key Deliverables / Responsibilities
- Manage accounts and drive sales; successfully promote the full portfolio across multiple specialties and healthcare systems.
- Use a data-driven approach and other technologies to accelerate reach and scale and meet customer needs.
- Ensure stakeholders are trained/equipped for safe and effective product infusion; support positive infusion and infusion monitoring experiences.
- Build a healthy AD care ecosystem by identifying and influencing formal and informal referral networks across stakeholders and health systems.
- Drive consistent ways of working in the regional healthcare market.
- Develop understanding of customer/practice dynamics, priorities, stakeholders, and goals for the brand target patient; welcome innovative thinking.
- Earn subject-matter expert reputation; engage with thought leaders/clinical experts; anticipate and adapt to change; test/learn/iterate approaches to build infrastructure.
- Educate customers on target patient, efficacy, safety, and treatment experience.
- Apply account management skills to understand patient/product/monetary flows when patients are referred for advanced AD diagnostics or infusion.
- Determine HCP/patient/care-setting needs, expectations, and pain points locally; deliver business results through execution excellence and ownership.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional certification or license required by state (if applicable).
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor visas/work authorization.
Additional Preferences
- 3+ years in a field-facing role or relevant experience (e.g., institutional healthcare account management).
- Live inside the territory or within 30 miles (preferred; no relocation).
- Proficiency in local dialects.
- Proven top performance in account-based selling.
- Experience in Alzheimer’s disease, diagnostics, neuroscience/neurology (or related).
- Clinical background in AD or diagnostics; ability to comprehend/explain complex clinical studies.
- Buy-and-bill experience.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and execute action plans in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytics and strategic thinking; ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Proven ability to work across functions; resilience and self-resolution of problems.
- MBA, relevant advanced degree (e.g., Pharmacy, RN, MPH), or certification (e.g., PET/CT technologist).
- Ability to fully participate in established training dates and the April National Meeting.
