Pharmaceutical Sales โ Territory Manager, Dermatology Specialty (Richmond, VA 200458)
Responsibilities:
- Account-based selling to healthcare providers (HCPs) who prescribe/influence treatment for Lillyโs dermatology portfolio disease states, including dedicated dermatology practices and key hospital accounts.
- Build relationships with dermatology customers to drive adoption of new and existing therapies.
- Identify and develop business relationships with state/local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations; act as a credible expert/resource.
- Territory management: understand territory and reimbursement landscape; use business insights to analyze and adapt to business needs.
- Account management: navigate changing healthcare environment; understand accounts and impact key stakeholders.
- Selling/customer experience: actively listen and adapt communication; demonstrate learning agility to understand clinical information, disease state, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace; use information to engage all office/account members.
- Promote full product portfolio via patient-centered dialogue; use Lilly selling model to identify appropriate patients.
- Sales activity: use analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while following internal policies/procedures and PhRMA code.
- Partner collaboration: coordinate with field-facing and internal peers to create a positive customer experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- State-required professional certification/license (if applicable).
- Valid U.S. driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
- Full-time U.S. work authorization (Lilly does not sponsor visas).
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- 2+ years sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after undergraduate degree; or other post-undergrad experience or graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD).
- Business ownership, selling/customer experience, execution/results.
- Account-based selling; identify/engage staff in accounts.
- Navigate complex integrated health systems; specialty pharmacy distribution model knowledge.
- Experience selling injectable/infusion products in complex reimbursement environment.
- Cross-functional partnership experience.
- Strong learning agility; self-motivated, team-focused, emotionally intelligent, influential.
- Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
