Responsibilities
- Disseminate clinical information about Lilly Oncology products/services to healthcare professionals (medical oncologists, oncology nurses, office managers, reimbursement managers, pharmacists).
- Territory Management: Understand territory and reimbursement landscape and use business insights to adapt to business needs.
- Account Management: Navigate the healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
- Dialogue Agility: Listen and adapt to verbal/non-verbal customer prompts.
- Medical Integrity: Learn clinical information/disease state, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace; engage all office/account members.
- Selling Skills: Promote the full product portfolio via patient-centered dialogue; use the selling model to identify appropriate patients.
- Sales Activity: Use available analytics resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while following internal policies and PhRMA code.
- Partner Collaboration: Coordinate with field-facing and internal peers to create a positive customer experience.
Basic Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree.
- Professional certification/license if required by a specific state.
- Valid U.S. driverβs license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
Additional Skills/Preferences
- 3+ years sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical).
- Account-based selling; ability to identify/engage staff members in accounts.
- Experience navigating complex integrated health systems.
- Specialty pharmacy distribution model experience/understanding.
- Experience selling injectable/infusion therapies in complex reimbursement environments.
- Ability to work with cross-functional partners; strong learning agility; self-motivated/team-focused/influential.
- Live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Anticipated base pay: $102,000β$204,600.
- Potential company bonus (based on company/individual performance).
