Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Southeast Michigan

About the Role
The GSK US Respiratory & Anti-Infectives Sales Professional engages physicians and allied health professionals across independent practices, physician groups, and hospital systems to drive appropriate prescribing of GSK products, including influencing prescribing decisions versus competitive therapies through compliant, face-to-face interactions aligned with approved indications and prescribing information.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive territory sales and market share growth across promoted COPD, asthma, and anti-infective products via targeted, compliant, evidence-based engagement.
- Own territory business planning; analyze sales data and execute actions to meet goals.
- Develop dynamic call plans and collaborate to maximize reach and frequency.
- Build partnerships with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical (MSLs), and other stakeholders.
- Plan and deliver in-services/educational programs and sample distribution per FDA regulations and company policy.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time (sample accountability, call reporting, eLearning, expense reporting).
- Comply with GSK policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driverβs license (driving essential).
- Willingness to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight/weekend travel.
- Grade 8: 2+ years pharmaceutical or B2B sales. Grade 7: 5+ years pharmaceutical or B2B sales.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (based on location); account management experience in local IDNs/large hospital systems; respiratory/allergy sales experience.
- Familiarity with managed care, formularies, retail pharmacy operations, prior authorization.
- Strong presentation/influencing/business planning skills; self-starter with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
