Responsibilities
- Achieve commercial objectives in assigned territory by developing and executing quarterly/annual growth plans.
- Use consultative, specialty sales to drive guideline-aligned behavior change (not transactional selling) by educating providers, addressing barriers to treatment, and improving patient care.
- Educate healthcare providers using clinical evidence; promote preventive, risk-mitigating strategies.
- Enhance workflows to identify at-risk patients, support continuity of care, and ensure patients receive prescribed therapies.
- Build account relationships across stakeholders (physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, diabetes educators, office personnel, healthcare systems, etc.); coordinate multiple touchpoints.
- Partner with office staff to improve access and prescription conversion; identify and address reimbursement/access/treatment barriers.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Market Access, and Commercial Operations; share best practices with peers/RBD; provide market intelligence and customer insights.
- Represent the organization ethically and maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelorโs degree.
- TBR: 2+ years successful sales in pharma/biotech/medical device/healthcare/clinical/B2B with sales driven by workflow implementation.
- TBM: 5+ years in the same areas.
Qualifications (Preferred/Skills)
- Proven history exceeding sales objectives via behavior change achieved through accountability and cross-stakeholder implementation.
- Strong consultative selling and account management; ability to influence behavior and create urgency.
- Business planning/territory management/analytical skills; ability to navigate complex healthcare systems.
- Ability to identify barriers and develop creative solutions.
Working Conditions
- Periodic evening/weekend work as needed.
- Vehicle and airline travel; valid U.S. state-issued driverโs license.
- Work in territory 5 days/week (customer calls, meetings, business activities).
