Position Details
The role is responsible for maintaining business and driving growth for PhibroChem’s product lines across the Northeast region, focusing on seeking, prospecting, qualifying, and landing new business while maintaining existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales Performance: Meet or exceed budgeted plans within each business segment.
- New Business: Qualify prospects and develop new customer and new product sales.
- Develop new accounts via prospecting and cold calls; present PhibroChem and explain product value.
- Follow up and report on prospective leads.
- Develop and execute strategies to convert prospects into customers.
- Participate in company-sponsored trade shows.
- Current/Existing Customers (assigned territory):
- Plan and schedule sales calls to solicit orders, maintain relationships, provide continuing service, and address inquiries/complaints.
- Maintain key technical contacts.
- Provide customer support; build product knowledge to deliver technical expertise.
- Collect data and maintain accurate account records via written reports.
- Marketing Support (Territory):
- Build market knowledge; report on markets/territory.
- Provide competitor intelligence (products, sales policies).
- Develop market/territory analysis as needed.
- Participate actively in the business team.
- Administrative/Planning/Other:
- Manage territory responsibilities; establish call patterns.
- Provide technical knowledge of assigned products/service applications.
- Use a team approach; perform special assignments as required.
- Complete reporting (call reports, weekly/territory reports, expense reports) on time.
- Help set annual territorial objectives; monitor progress and adjust sales tactics.

Skills/Qualifications
- Proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Proven sales skills and prior client/operations contact.
- Relationship-building with internal/external clients.
- Ability to plan and prioritize; motivated self-starter; strong customer service.
- Ability to travel as necessary (50% travel).
- Business acumen, energy/drive, positive attitude, client-focused, flexible, empathetic.
- Strong negotiation and project management experience.
- Able to handle client complaints calmly and professionally; extensive client interaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; proficient with email/phones/cell phones and office equipment.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science (ideally Chemical Engineering or Chemistry) or minimum 5 years related history.

Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday (standard work hours).
