People Partner (HR)

Role: People Partner supporting Novartis Biomedical Research (BR) in San Diego, focusing on talent management, employee relations, and P&O initiatives. Responsibilities: implement P&O strategies, drive data-driven decisions, ensure compliance with local regulations, manage organizational change and restructuring, coach leaders on P&O topics, and foster cross-divisional relationships. Requirements: minimum 5+ years in P&O with broad discipline experience; 3+ years supporting complex US organizations; hands-on experience with Workday or similar HR systems; proven AI fluency for process enhancement; strong employee relations and coaching skills; influence and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Preferred: experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, particularly R&D. HighValue: supporting a research-focused biotech environment, experience with organizational change management, and leveraging AI tools for HR analytics. WorkSetup: onsite 3 days/week in San Diego; hybrid working environment.
