Role Summary

People Operations Manager responsible for HR systems and operations, compensation analysis, benefits administration, and compliance processes. Focus on data-driven insights, operational excellence, and supporting organizational growth. Location: Cambridge, MA (in-office four days on site).

Responsibilities

  • HR Systems & HRIS Management: Serve as the primary administrator for HRIS platform (currently Paycor) ensuring data integrity and system optimization. Support processes in HRIS including performance assessments, applicant tracking, and new hire onboarding. Lead HR technology implementations and integrations. Develop dashboards and analytics to provide actionable insights for leadership.
  • Compensation Analysis: Conduct market benchmarking and salary analysis to maintain competitive pay structures utilizing Radford. Support annual compensation review cycles, including merit and bonus processes. Prepare detailed compensation reports and executive presentations.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, compliance, and vendor relationships. Communicate benefits offerings effectively to employees. Monitor and analyze benefits utilization and cost trends for optimization.
  • Compliance & Process Management: Maintain HR compliance processes aligned with federal, state, and local regulations. Implement policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure audit readiness. Maintain employee personnel files and complete annual audits and stay updated on employment requirements.
  • Reporting & Presentation Skills: Work with Chief People Officer to create PowerPoint presentations for leadership and board-level meetings. Translate complex HR data into clear, visual, and actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; 5+ years of progressive HR experience with focus on HR operations, analytics, and compliance; proven expertise in HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in compensation and benefits; excellent communication skills and proficiency with PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR).
