Pediatric Immunization Specialist (Vaccines) Plainfield, New Jersey

Responsibilities:
- Engage HCPs (internal medicine, family practice, health departments) using approved materials to communicate clinical value and benefits of GSK vaccines.
- Build expertise in vaccine therapeutic areas, GSK products, and competitors.
- Support peer-to-peer educational programs, conventions, and speaker events.
- Tailor engagement strategies to local practice dynamics and HCP/account needs.
- Drive adult vaccination pull-through (private and public): stocking, in-office vaccination, and/or strong referral processes.
- Partner with Vaccine Account Managers to support Public Awardees, Health Systems, and contracted accounts per customer engagement guidelines.
- Influence uptake of publicly funded vaccines by understanding HCP/staff immunization goals and funding cycles.
- Support ordering and inventory management as appropriate; educate HCPs/staff on HS policies.
- Identify and address barriers to contract execution and utilization; provide actionable feedback.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Market Access, Medical Affairs, Account Teams) to ensure aligned, compliant execution and remove barriers (access, reimbursement, workflow integration).
- Maintain compliant CRM documentation and activity records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree (accredited institution).
- Minimum 2 years business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Local/regional travel; occasional overnights/weekends.
- Valid driverโs license; willing to drive.
Preferred:
- 2+ years vaccines sales; strong performance; healthcare account-selling skills; science/business/customer engagement competency; knowledge/experience in healthcare; learning agility.
