Role Summary
- Develop ongoing relationships with payer/provider healthcare decision makers across key organizations.
- Provide balanced, credible oncology product and clinical science/quality information consistent with regulatory and ethical standards.
- Serve as a resource to Medical Affairs management for strategic planning and mentor team members.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with key decision makers in organized health systems to deliver medical/scientific information.
- Develop strategic account plans with Integrated Account Management (IAM) Account Executive teams and execute aligned medical activities.
- Track market dynamics to identify evolving information needs for value-proposition development.
- Coordinate with Regional Medical Scientific Director (RMSD) for medical/scientific support needs.
- Support broader Country Medical Affairs strategic planning.
- Attend and support scientific/medical meetings; prepare post-meeting deliverables.
Location & Travel
- Remote; serves NC, SC, and TN (reside in territory).
- Travel up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- MD, PhD, or PharmD.
- 3+ years field-based Medical Affairs with regional/national payers or integrated delivery systems/scientific leaders OR 5+ years clinical oncology in a health system (or equivalent).
- Experience with organized healthcare and payer organizations; ability to develop peer-to-peer relationships.
- Knowledge of clinical medicine, delivery systems, pharmacoeconomics, disease/quality/value-based payment, and healthcare policy trends.
- Strong communication, integrity, collaboration, customer focus; understanding of pharma ethical guidelines.
- Ability to organize/prioritize in changing environments; project leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Field-based medical experience with payers/integrated delivery systems/scientific leaders.
- Training in health economics and/or outcomes research.
