Role: Patient Educator focused on Parkinson’s Disease Psychosis (PDP), responsible for delivering disease state education, supporting patient and caregiver understanding, and facilitating access to treatment resources such as NUPLAZID. Responsibilities include conducting group presentations, providing educational materials, collaborating with Patient Access Managers to address coverage and affordability issues, and partnering with sales teams and advocacy organizations to enhance patient engagement. Requirements: Bachelor’s in nursing, social work, psychology, or related healthcare field; 3-5 years pharma experience, ideally in patient education, navigation, or advocacy; knowledge of neurology and movement disorders preferred; strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays. Competencies: patient-centered mindset, empathy, collaboration, and compliance with privacy standards. Work setup involves travel within territory, with a preference for candidates residing near Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston, or Virginia Beach. The role is integral to supporting underserved neurological and rare disease communities, with a focus on Parkinson’s disease, and involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure comprehensive patient support and education.
