Role: Patient Educator focused on Parkinson’s Disease Psychosis (PDP), responsible for delivering disease state education and support to patients and caregivers, facilitating access to treatment options like NUPLAZID. Responsibilities include conducting community-based education sessions, providing information on safety, efficacy, and coverage support, and partnering with Patient Access Managers to address reimbursement questions. The role requires collaboration with neurology sales teams, advocacy groups, and professional societies to promote awareness and support. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field (nursing, social work, psychology) with 3–5 years pharma experience, particularly in patient education, navigation, or advocacy. Knowledge of neurology, psychiatry, or movement disorders, especially Parkinson’s disease or PDP, is preferred. Skills: strong communication, empathy, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration. Work involves extensive travel (up to 75%), including overnight and local travel, with a focus on supporting underserved neurological patient communities. Location: primarily within specified territories near Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston, or Virginia Beach, with flexible remote work options.
