Patient Access Liaison - Rare Disease - Central

Role: Field-based Patient Access Liaison supporting patients, providers, and caregivers in insurance coverage, reimbursement, and financial navigation for Amgen’s specialty therapies. Responsibilities: assist with insurance benefits, prior authorization, claims resolution, and patient education; develop relationships with patients and providers; support provider education on coverage pathways; collaborate with internal teams (Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Case Management, Site of Care); ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory guidelines; document activities accurately. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years or equivalent patient services, access, or reimbursement experience; or advanced degrees with relevant experience. Preferred skills include experience with infused therapies, rare diseases, clinical backgrounds, reimbursement processes, coding, and billing; strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with relevant systems; ability to manage complex cases and travel up to 50%.
