General Summary:
The Pain Territory Account Manager (PTAM) is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with institutional decision makers and affiliated HCPs to promote the safe and effective use of JOURNAVX in acute pain. The PTAM leads engagement with 15–20 institutions (hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers) and select physicians, executing strategic account plans.

Candidate must reside within Northwest Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships across key hospital account layers (medical/administrative staff, pharmacies, formulary decision makers and KTLs).
- Develop expertise in product clinical attributes and patient unmet need; educate HCPs on appropriate patient use.
- Navigate formulary processes and deliver product value to support inclusion on formularies, pathways, and/or protocols.
- Understand account/market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, decision-maker management, patient protocols, referral networks, and drivers/barriers.
- Implement and maintain strategic account plans to drive growth and patient-focused solutions.
- Drive sales performance; ensure forecasts and budgets meet/exceed territory expectations.
- Collaborate compliantly with field team and HQ to align business plans and initiatives.
- Role model ethics and integrity.

Required Experience/Skills:
- 5–7+ years biotech sales; hospital/institution launch experience highly desired.
- 3+ years account management; ability to leverage institutional relationships.
- Experience navigating hospital systems/formulary management to gain access and influence decision makers.
- Experience implementing inpatient formularies, protocols, pathways, and order sets.
- Strong IT skills, including Veeva CRM.
- New product launch experience preferred.

Other Requirements:
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations.
- Live/work within the territory (may require proximity to major airport).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Travel up to 80% (10–30% overnight) and work after hours as needed.
