General Summary:
The Pain Territory Account Manager (PTAM) establishes and maintains relationships with key institutional decision makers and affiliated healthcare professionals to promote the safe and effective use of JOURNAVX in acute pain. Leads engagement with 15–20 institutions (hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers) and select physicians in hospital settings/networks; works with Territory Business Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain professional relationships across hospital layers (medical/admin staff, pharmacies, formulary decision makers, KTLs)
- Maintain product/clinical expertise and educate HCPs on appropriate patient use
- Navigate formulary processes and deliver value content for timely inclusion on formularies/pathways/protocols
- Manage stakeholder mapping, decision-maker relationships, patient protocols, referral navigation, and access barriers/drivers
- Implement strategic account plans to grow across the customer landscape
- Drive sales performance; meet/exceed territory forecasts and budgets
- Collaborate with field and HQ teams to create aligned business plans
- Model ethics and integrity to support compliance and earn trust

Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
- 5–7+ years biotech sales (hospital/institution product launch highly desired)
- 3+ years account management leveraging institutional relationships
- Experience with hospital systems and formulary management/product review to gain access
- Experience implementing inpatient formularies/protocols/pathways/order sets
- IT capability (including Veeva CRM)
- New product launch experience preferred

Other Requirements:
- Complete required trainings/background screens/drug testing/vaccinations as needed
- Live and work within the territory (may require proximity to a major airport)
- Valid driver’s license; travel up to 80% (10–30% overnight); work after hours as needed

Pay Range:
$133,600–$200,400
- Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
