General/Position Summary
- Field-based Pain Regional Account Manager providing flexible, high-impact coverage across the Pain Business Unit to address territory vacancies, leaves of absence, and priority business needs.
- Deployed dynamically (typically 10β12 weeks) within assigned territory; supports continuity, priority accounts, surge initiatives, account recovery, and new-hire onboarding.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide immediate regional coverage and deployment for PTAM/TBM assignments with limited ramp time.
- Own customer engagement, account execution, pull-through activities, and territory planning while deployed.
- Execute structured handoff/transition processes to maintain customer relationships and account plans.
- Support onboarding/ramp-up via territory knowledge transfer and field-based coaching.
- Establish/maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and institutional stakeholders; assess new environments and adapt engagement strategies.
- Execute territory/account plans aligned to commercial objectives; document using Veeva and approved systems.
- Report to Area Field Leader; partner with Regional Field Leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Complete deployment-readiness training and maintain readiness for PTAM/TBM responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required or equivalent education/experience.
- Typically 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech field sales experience; 3+ years account management.
- Proven success in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with frequent transitions; experience in community and institutional accounts preferred.
- Experience pulling through implementation of inpatient formularies/protocols/pathways/order sets.
Required Skills/Other
- Ability to quickly assess markets; high adaptability/learning agility; manage multiple transitions and maintain continuity.
- Strong collaboration; CRM proficiency (e.g., Veeva).
- Travel up to 80%; work after hours as needed; may require training, background screens, drug testing, vaccinations; valid driverβs license.
Pay Range
- $133,600 β $200,400.
