General/Position Summary
- Field-based Pain Regional Account Manager providing flexible, high-impact coverage across the Pain Business Unit to address territory vacancies, leaves of absence, and priority business needs.
- Deployed dynamically (temporary territory deployments ~10–12 weeks). Lives and works in the assigned territory during the week with regular in-territory travel; comfortable stepping into PTAM/TBM responsibilities.
- Supports surge initiatives, account recovery, and new-hire onboarding when not covering a vacancy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide immediate coverage and deployment across assigned regions.
- Step quickly into PTAM/TBM coverage with limited ramp time; maintain full ownership of customer engagement, account execution, pull-through activities, and territory planning.
- Execute structured handoffs/transitions to preserve customer relationships, account plans, and business execution.
- Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, priority accounts, health systems, and stakeholders; assess new customer environments and adapt engagement strategies.
- Rapidly assess territories/accounts; execute plans aligned to commercial objectives; use Veeva and approved systems to document activity.
- Report to Area Field Leader; collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial Ops, Training, Marketing, Market Access, Medical) and share best practices.
- Maintain readiness and complete deployment-readiness training; stay current on product, compliance, access, and engagement expectations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent education + relevant experience).
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales (field-based commercial success).
- 3+ years Account Management; leverage institutional relationships.
- Strong ability in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and frequent transitions; community and institutional engagement experience.
- Experience pulling through inpatient formularies, protocols, pathways, and order sets.

Required Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to quickly assess markets and prioritize with limited transition time.
- High adaptability/learning agility; manage multiple transitions and maintain continuity.
- Collaboration in a matrixed, dynamically deployed field model.
- CRM proficiency (e.g., Veeva) and navigating multi-territory systems.

Other Requirements
- Travel up to 80% and work after hours as needed.
- Complete required trainings/credentials (e.g., background screens, drug testing, vaccinations).
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
