General/Position Summary
- Field-based role delivering flexible, high-impact coverage across the Pain Business Unit to address territory vacancies, leaves of absence, and priority business needs.
- Dynamically deployed (temporary territory deployments ~10–12 weeks). Live/work in assigned territory during the week with regular in-territory travel; return home typically weekly.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Coverage & Deployment
- Provide immediate, flexible coverage; deploy based on AFL prioritization and business need.
- Step quickly into PTAM or TBM coverage with limited ramp time.
- Own customer engagement, account execution, pull-through, and territory planning while deployed.
- Execute structured handoff/transition processes; support onboarding/ramp-up via knowledge transfer and field coaching.

Account Engagement & Business Planning
- Build/maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, priority accounts, health systems, and stakeholders.
- Assess new environments; adapt engagement strategies; minimize disruption during vacancy/leave coverage.
- Transition ownership and account plans to permanent territory leaders at assignment end.
- Rapidly assess priorities/risks; execute territory/account plans aligned to commercial objectives; use Veeva/approved systems for documentation.

Collaboration & Training
- Partner with Area/Regional Field Leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Maintain readiness/training currency; provide customer insights and feedback across regions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent education/experience).
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales; success in field-based commercial roles.
- 3+ years Account Management; ability to leverage institutional relationships.
- Experience with community and institutional account engagement (preferred) and pulling through implementation of inpatient formularies/protocols/pathways/order sets.

Required Skills/Other
- Strong market assessment and prioritization; high adaptability; manage multiple transitions.
- CRM proficiency (e.g., Veeva).
- Travel up to 80%; work after hours as needed; complete required credentials (training, background screens, drug testing, vaccinations).
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Pay Range
- $133,600–$200,400.
