General/Position Summary
- Field-based Pain Regional Account Manager providing flexible, high-impact coverage across the Pain Business Unit for territory vacancies, leaves of absence, and priority needs. Deployed regionally (~10β12 weeks per assignment) while living/working in the territory during the week.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide immediate coverage and deploy to priority regions/accounts (may assume PTAM/TBM responsibilities).
- Own customer engagement, account execution, pull-through activities, and territory planning while deployed.
- Execute structured handoff/transition to maintain continuity of relationships and account plans.
- Support onboarding/ramp-up of newly hired reps via territory knowledge transfer and field coaching.
- Build/maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, health systems, and institutional stakeholders; assess new environments and identify stakeholders/opportunities/risks.
- Execute territory/account plans with minimal transition time; maintain performance continuity and support recovery.
- Use Veeva and approved systems to document activity and updates.
- Partner with AFL/RFL and cross-functional teams; share best practices/insights.
- Maintain readiness through required deployment-readiness training and stay current on product/compliance/access expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent education + relevant experience.
- Typically 7+ years pharma/biotech field sales; 3+ years Account Management; ability to leverage institutional relationships.
- Experience pulling through implementation of inpatient formularies, protocols, pathways, and order sets.
Required Skills
- Rapid market/priority assessment, high adaptability, manage multiple transitions, strong collaboration in matrixed deployments.
- CRM proficiency (e.g., Veeva).
Other Requirements
- Travel up to 80%; work after hours as needed; establish required customer credentials (training/background/drug testing/vaccinations); valid driverβs license.
Compensation (as stated)
- Pay range: $133,600β$200,400; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
