Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and weigh components per established manufacturing directions (batch records).
- Select and move components to weighing area or dumping station.
- Examine finished products for consistency and blend characteristics.
- Sample products according to Quality Control procedures.
- Select and record lot numbers and weights of all materials.
- Reconcile weights and yields on batch formulation sheets.
- Package finished goods according to batch specifications.
- Reconcile quantity packages with production yield.
- Assign dates and lot numbers to product labels; affix labels to packaged product.
- Maintain mixing and packaging equipment; clean work area and adhere to OSHA and GMP.
- Clean equipment regularly and as needed.
- Operate forklift to move and store raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
- Perform regular safety inspections and make recommendations for improvement.
- Check calibration of scales and maintain inspection log; assist mechanic as required.
- Report inconsistencies (color, odor, etc.) to the Plant Manager.
- Recommend improvements to product appearance, flow, and packaging.

- Methodically perform multiple production tasks.
- Work well in a self-directed team environment; communicate with employees about production issues.
- Excellent attention to detail; follow instructions.
- Operate blending equipment and terminals.
- Proficiency with computers (e-mail, internet, online training).
- Perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Access all areas of production facility; routinely lift 55 lbs.
- Operate forklift (current operator license desired).
- Maintain awareness of safety and quality regulations.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous production experience.

Physical Requirements (summary):
- Lift/carry 21–50 lbs; push/pull 21–50 lbs; reach outward frequently; sit frequently; squat/kneel frequently; stand constantly; talk/hear constantly; use hands constantly; walk constantly.

Work Schedule:
- Monday–Friday (weekend hours may be required based on facility demand).
