Role Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing and brand strategy for targeting and deploying resources to key customers.
- Develop strategies to achieve sales and product positioning goals within target accounts.
- Provide on-label clinical data to support appropriate use of assigned product.
- Initiate and develop relationships with high-level decision makers and influential groups.
- Use account-specific targeted marketing materials to educate and address stakeholder needs.
- Create account-specific business plans to gain access to key stakeholders.
- Provide real-time analysis and input on market conditions for Home Office development of targeted strategies/materials.
- Drive field execution (calls per day/reach) to increase sales performance.
- Apply functional/technical expertise to achieve individual, team, and organizational sales goals.
- Maintain high competence in product knowledge, covered disease states, industry/competitive landscape, and organizational structure.
- Analyze data and prepare subject matter for business reviews.
- Serve as a technical/functional subject matter resource and continue building higher-level skills.
- Complete accurate, timely reporting (monthly territory action plan, expense reports, monthly itinerary, sample inventory, professional speaker requests, budget tracking tool).
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Utilize company resources per guidelines; report adverse events related to products in a timely, compliant manner.
- Understand distribution/delivery system for oral molecules and the interface between specialty pharmacy/provider and in-office dispensing.
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelorโs degree and 5+ years of demonstrated successful pharmaceutical experience.
- Oncology, rare disease, or specialty sales preferred.
- Strong presentation/communication skills.
- Ability to communicate scientific knowledge with medical professionals in a compliant manner.
- Strong computer/technical skills to process/analyze territory-specific data.
- Valid driverโs license in good standing.
Preferred:
- Oncology, rare disease, or specialty pharmaceutical experience.
- Established rapport/relationships in the geographic area.
- Large account management experience (large oncology community practices, academic and NCI/NCCN cancer centers).
Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written and oral exams).
Benefits/Compensation (if explicitly stated):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $78.27โ$107.62.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives.
