Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve challenges within accounts with effective, tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan aligned to shared priorities to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Use knowledge of the market, competitive landscape, and cross-functional dynamics to anticipate and respond to challenges.
- Use territory data and market trends to generate local insights, support pull-through, and lead impactful customer engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders to solve complex challenges across functions.
- Provide real-time access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach across virtual and face-to-face settings.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similarly complex industries) with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years; Associate level: limited prior sales experience encouraged.
- Proven track record of high performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with analytic/problem-solving skills; ethical leadership and compliance mindset.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of the territory border; travel 60โ80%; valid driverโs license; drive and/or fly within territory.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Understanding of patient services and market access (buy and bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement and/or HCP medical calling).
Leveling (filled based on experience):
- Associate TAS: 4+ years military leadership or limited prior sales experience; strong collaboration and effective product communication; preferred Novartis Sales Internship Program and leadership in extracurriculars.
- TAS: 2+ years in specialty/pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales; strong cross-functional collaboration and clinical product communication.
- Senior TAS: 5+ years in similar complex sales; strong cross-functional collaboration and clinical product communication.
Driving is an essential function: fully valid, unrestricted driverโs license required.
