Territory Account Specialist (TAS) โ Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve account challenges with tailored solutions.
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver access support and meet customer needs.
- Use market/competitive insights to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Analyze territory data and trends to generate pull-through and lead customer engagements (virtual/in-person).
- Facilitate stakeholder planning sessions to solve complex issues across functions.
- Provide real-time access support; partner with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) for seamless customer experience.
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized outreach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required.
- Experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales with large geographically dispersed teams within last 5 years (Associate level: limited sales experience OK).
- Proven track record selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with strong analytics and ethical, compliant leadership.
- Reside in territory (or within 50 miles of border); travel 60โ80%; ability to drive/fly; valid driverโs license.
Desirable:
- Experience across therapeutic areas, disease states, account strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.
Leveling (as applicable):
- Associate: 4+ years military leadership OR limited sales experience; strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Territory: 2+ years relevant specialty/healthcare sales (last 5 years).
- Senior: 5+ years relevant specialty/healthcare sales (last 5 years).
Driving is essential (unrestricted driverโs license required).
Field roles: complete initial training (home study; โค8 hrs/day and โค40 hrs/week).
