Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and resolve account challenges with tailored solutions.
- Build a strategic territory plan to align priorities and drive product demand to improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Use market/competitive knowledge to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data and market trends to create local insights and lead customer engagements (virtual/in-person).
- Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders to solve complex issues across functions.
- Provide real-time access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 5 yearsβ experience (leveling varies) in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales with large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Proven success selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with strong analytics; ethical leadership and compliance mindset.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of territory border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling.
Levels:
- Associate: recent military leadership (4+ years) or limited sales experience.
- Territory: 2+ years relevant complex sales/field experience (last 5 years).
- Senior: 5+ years relevant complex sales/field experience (last 5 years).
Driving is essential.
Field roles with dedicated training: complete initial training (home study; β€8 hrs/day, β€40 hrs/week).
Compensation/Benefits (summary):
- Salary range: Associate $81,200β$150,800; Territory $114,100β$211,900; Senior $132,300β$245,700.
- Performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity eligibility.
